Block Websites from appearing in Firefox History
There are many users that like to use history of the web browser as it provides them the fastest way to access to a website as well as the website that they have opened it before. There are also some users that would like to block their history as to protect their privacy.
Firefox users have another possibility in the form of the Firefox History Block add-on. This add-on allows to specify websites or domains that should not be added to the Firefox history. Every other website and domain is added to the Firefox history normally.
Using the extension is really quite simple—just right-click on a page, choose Block This! from the menu, and pages from that domain will no longer be stored in your history. Since there’s no UI to see all of the sites that are being blocked, you’ll have to manually unblock the site using the extension’s options panel and manually typing in the domain of the site—but it’s worth the trouble if you simply want to hide a site from being stored in your history.
HistoryBlock is a free download, works wherever Firefox does and no matter what version.
