Edison helps your PC save energy and save your money

Nowadays the energy and power that waste is uncountable, while human cannot control them from wasted but can only use them in a small amount. Currently PC or computer is one of the reason of energy wasting. To cut down the energy costs, using a little power with turn off display, power down hard disk and suspend computer will help on it. While this task can be done by ourselves but the truth is we are LAZY. So here is the software — Edison that can help you on it.

It is a powerful software that help you on scheduled turn off display, power down hard disk and shut down your computer. Besides that, you can use the Edison efficiency slider to choose the level of energy savings you want to achieve which is Work-Time, Non-Work-Time and Schedule. Edison also have a function that let you check how much energy you save while you making the settings on it.

By the way, Edison also can calculate how much money, energy and CO2 you can save annually. I think is quite correct and can be trusted. The requirement of Edison for installation and working fine are Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista with 256MB RAM and 7MB disk space. *If .NET2.0 not yet installed, 280MB disk space is required.
