Microsoft Office 2007 SP2 at 2009

Submitted by User Imagerichardcqz on Thursday, 22 May 2008No Comment

Microsoft Office 2007 SP1 already provides support up to 20 different documents formats within Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Words. With the release of Microsoft Office 2007 SP2 scheduled at first half of 2009, the list will grow up to include XML Paper Specification (XPS), Portable Document Format (PDF) 1.5, PDF/A and Open Document Format (ODF) v1.1.

When user use SP2, they can open, edit or save documents to XPS, PDF and ODF file format without install any addon of the Microsoft Office. A few years ago, the company had release the addon of microsoft office for support ODF format. Now will the SP2, the addon is built in inside the application so user no need to download the addon.

If you cant wait for using the Microsoft Office 2007 SP2 that will release at first half of 2009, you can try another application which can open the format Microsoft office 2007 SP2 have, that is OpenOffice.org.
