More and more extensions that have once only been available for the Firefox web browser are released for the Google Chrome web browser. The latest to join the ranks is the Page Monitor add-on for Google Chrome which offers a similar functionality as the popular Firefox add-on Update Scanner .

Chrome users had to start the browser with a command line parameter before if they wanted to enable extensions. It is now more comfortable to work with extensions
