RSS has become such a common source of information for us information junkies. Whether you are following Ghacks via RSS, your favorite news site, or your favorite blog, it’s nice to be able to get all of those feeds centralized on your desktop. For Linux there are plenty of possible RSS feed readers.

Most users who subscribe to RSS feeds read these feeds in feed readers that can either be accessed from the desktop or on a website. Popular options are for instance the Feed Demon software program or Google Reader on the web. There are some other options for users who do not want to open a website or a feed reader software to view the updates.
