One of the features that I personally like in Microsoft’s latest operating system Windows 7 is the ability to save themes to the local computer system so that they can be shared with family, friends and other Windows 7 users from around the world. The theme creation is in fact that easy that it usually does not take longer than a few minutes to create a personalized theme.

The Google Docs development team has finally added one of the most requested features to the document management service. The ability to share folders – and with those the documents contained in those folders – was not given until the new release yesterday. This new feature makes it more comfortable to work with several users on a project collaboratively without having to share all documents of the project separately

Adobe has posted information about a known critical security vulnerability affecting Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat on Windows, Mac and Unix operating systems. According to Adobe there are reports about a limited attack on the Windows versions of Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat 9.1.3 (and most likely earlier). A patch that is fixing the issue will be released by Adobe on October 13 for all operating systems as part of the Adobe Reader and Acrobat quarterly security update.

One cannot really deny the fact that Google is constantly working on new features for their popular online services like Gmail or Google Docs. The latest feature is currently available as a demonstration only and not yet integrated into Google Docs

There are two ways to access the Firefox web browser cache. The cache can either be accessed from within the web browser by entering about:cache into the Firefox address bar or by opening the cache directory located in the Firefox user profile on the hard drive. The in-browser solution displays a bare-bone file browser with little comfort while the solution to browse the cache on the hard drive requires to locate the Firefox profile folder to access it.
